DAC 為奧地利法定產區規範 (Districtus Austriae Controllatus)，是參考法國 AOC 所做的產區規範，至今奧地利政府已成立9個 DAC，維也納即為其中之一。
據奧地利葡萄酒行銷委員會指出，最初旨在保護葡萄產量並降低歉收的風險，但這一種植方式最終意外的導致該產區葡萄酒的香氣及口感都極為獨特。在 DAC 產區的葡萄園至少要包含三種高品質的白葡萄品種，並要種植在一起，同時，在葡萄園土地登記要被註冊為 Wiener Gemischter Satz，經過重重認證，才有資格冠上 DAC 的名號。
Mayer am Pfarrplatz 使用四種葡萄品種 GrünerVeltliner、Riesling、Rotgipfler 和 Zierfandler 的完美混合基礎下，香氣濃郁且果味芳香，酒體帶有梨子、柑橘和蘋果的多汁水果氣息，口感脆口，清新明快的酸度更是平衡了整體。混釀型葡萄酒的獨特風格，造就了維也納葡萄酒的標誌性無可取代。
