為了找出最適合釀酒的蘋果品種，精挑細選了許多蘋果品種，也為了維持品種的多樣化，嘗試了四百種不同的老蘋果品種，他們對害蟲有抵抗力，對天氣和環境影響具很高的耐性，不需要注射或是特殊的照顧，在勃蘭登堡的果園裡 ，堅持手工採摘的方式對環境更是無害！特別的是，他們只選用當地區域典型的蘋果品種，像是 Geheimrat Dr. Oldenburg、Yellow Sheep Nose、Schöner v. Boskop、Red Starrenette，多方嘗試後得以釀出這麼好喝的 Outcider!
Ostmost 蘋果酒來自果園草甸 Streuobstwiesen 的老蘋果品種製成，Streuobstwiesen（果園草甸）是德國的小雨林，和主流果園相比，它們為 6000 種不同的動植物物種提供了生存空間。然而，德國 80％ 的果園草甸被砍伐。類似於熱帶雨林，“Streuobstwiesen” 是瀕臨滅絕的生物群落！透過喝 Ostmost 保護德國果園草甸吧！
Wild 口感比較濃厚，從瓶中倒出清澈的黃綠色調，圓潤的蘋果香氣撲鼻而來，口感微甜但入口後帶點酸味平衡，清脆的碳酸感讓這款蘋果酒就是討人喜歡！
